Physical Purification Systems

Physical treatment systems are systems designed to remove pollutants, particles and other undesirable substances in water, wastewater or air by physical methods. These systems do not involve chemical or biological processes, but perform the purification process using the physical properties of pollutants.

Physical / Pre-treatment units consist of treatment stages such as separation of coarse materials in wastewater from water, flow measurement and flow adjustment, without any chemical addition. It ensures the removal of floating (e.g. oil, grease, fiber, sawdust, plastic etc.) or collapsible (e.g. stone, sand, metal etc.) pollutants in wastewater. Main physical treatment equipment; drum sieve, mechanical screen, manual screen, sand catcher, auger screw, static screen.

Physical treatment systems are often used in water treatment plants, industrial wastewater treatment or to improve air quality. These systems play an important role in environmental sustainability and protection of clean water resources.
