Instrumentation and control systems is a general term covering various control systems and related instruments used for Industrial process control.

There are some instruments also used in water and wastewater treatment systems. These instruments can be listed as flowmeters and flow meters, level meters and level sensors, motion control equipment, pressure meters and regulators, and electronic meters.
