Pressurized Sand Filters

Pressurized sand filters used for suspended solids removal in clean water and wastewater treatment plants are made with single or multi-media depending on their intended use. The body, made of carbon steel with a thickness suitable for operating pressure, can be coated with epoxy or dip galvanized upon request. 11 different types of pressurized sand filters are produced by MASS. Hydraulic losses are minimized with appropriately selected bed, piping and base plate.

Pressure filter vessels are designed specifically for each application, based on operating pressures, and are produced with materials of thickness calculated according to the pressure class.
